Photographers who join the Foundation, contribute an annual subscription and participate in its activities.

If you become a member of FIOF- upon payment of a small annual membership subscription- you will enjoy many advantages reserved for members only (FOR LATEST INFORMATION- SEE THE MEMBER PAGE) - you will be enroled in the mailing list and informed directly in your store or studio of any events we organise as well as those we think may interest you professionally or culturally. You may participate in the AGM as well as in any activities promoted by the Foundation. You will receive an esclusive"Orvieto Fotografia" tshirt. You will receive a membership card and car sticker. Above all you will have made a personal contribution to the professional and cultural development of our profession.

Following the ideals expressed by the Orvieto Fotografia manifesto 29 photographers from all over Italy, members of all the important professional associations, met in Roma on the 15th of September 2004 and founded the FIOF association. The aim of FIOF is to promote photography as a language and means of universal communication, as well as to contribute to the professional and economic growth of professional photographers through the organisation of a series of events and initiatives. The members of FIOF- apart from organising the Orvieto Fotografia international convention (held annually since 1999) and other events- also promote personal research, courses, market consultancy, professional qualifications, etc.

Public and private associations and bodies which through their support and contributions help to promote the aims and initiatives of the Foundation. Their aid is not only monetary but also practical.

Soci sostenitori

Fotografi che aderiscono al Fondo versando una quota supplementare e si aggiungono ai soci fondatori contribuendo direttamente alla organizzazione e gestione dell'attivita' del fondo.

Il 2005 ha segnato la crescita e la definitiva affermazione della nostra associazione, nonché il rafforzamento delle nostre risorse e strutture organizzative. Si sono infatti aggiunti ai soci fondatori altri colleghi che sono tra noi con l’entusiasmo e la voglia di dare anche loro un contributo alla crescita professionale e culturale della nostra professione: a Roberto Bastianoni, che aveva già aderito all’inizio dell’anno, si sono aggiunti in questi ultimi mesi Ruggiero Zigliotto, Gianni Pasinato, Sergio Mantello, Stefano Gerardi, Luigi Fedeli, Luigi Del Sesto, Salvatore di Vilio, Armando Cerzosimo, Giovanni Giuliana, Umberto Sofo… mentre altri colleghi hanno già annunciato la loro prossima adesione.
